February 07, 2012 – By the Grace of Allah, Klimatech Environment Club (KEC) has successfully conducted National Workshop of Awareness and Education on Air Pollution and Male’ Declaration on Transboundary Air Pollution at College of Earth & Environmental Sciences (CEES), University of the Punjab, Lahore. Students from different universities like COMSATS, Govt. College University Faisalabad, Govt. College University, Lahore and Lahore College for Women University, Lahore participated in the event and appreciated Klimatech Environment Club on conducting such a wonderful activity on awareness about air pollution and its mitigations. Teachers of CEES, particularly Principal Dr. Iftikhar Ahmed, old university students and concerned faculty members also participated warmly in the episode.
This event was organized by this Club in collaboration with TUNZA, United Nations Environment Program (UNEP), South Asian Youth Environment Network (SAYEN) and College of Earth & Environmental Sciences (CEES), University of the Punjab, Lahore. Chief Guest Prof. Dr. Iftikhar Ahmed, Incharge Principal, College of Earth & Environmental Sciences also appreciated KEC team for organizing this event at CEES. Other faculty members of CEES have also admired the KEC team for this effort.
We are very thankful to Mr. Muhammad Azeem, Founder of this club and Managing Director of Klimatech Group of Companies, and KEC team members for the hard work and dedication they have shown throughout this course. We are also grateful to Prof. Dr. Iftikhar Ahmed for supporting us to hold and manage this event. Participants and members have appreciated Mr. Muhammad Zeeshan Shahid, National TUNZA Youth Advisor for Pakistan, for conducting this workshop in collaboration with KEC.
